A Day at the Fair is a story from the 1984 Annual.
Plot[]
The Mr. Men are out enjoying a day at the fair. Mr. Rush is enjoying the helter-skelter for the fortieth time and Mr. Topsy-Turvy is trying to purchase a ticket for the roundabout but his back-to-front talking is confusing the man at the kiosk. By good luck, Mr. Noisy shows up, helps Mr. Topsy-Turvy out, and the two enjoy the roundabout together. Over at the dodgems, Mr. Grumpy is enjoying himself for once only for his good mood to be ruined by Mr. Bump and his dodgem bumping into Mr. Grumpy's. Then Mr. Bump bumps into Mr. Muddle's dodgem. Mr. Bump is very good at the dodgems. The Mr. Men aren't the only ones enjoying the fair. At the ice cream stall, Little Miss Plump has arrived and is enjoying ice cream with Mr. Greedy. By the time the fair has closed, everyone is ready to go home, only for the coach's engine to break down. It's a good thing Mr. Strong is there to pull the coach home. He pulled a coach full of Mr. Men fifty miles with one finger! AMAZING!
