A Job for Mr. Small is a story from the 1982 Annual.
Plot[]
Mr. Small was sitting on the rock in his garden because he was rather sad and lonely. Mr. Robinson came along to cheer up Mr. Small. He bent down, picked up Mr. Small, and told him that he found a job for Mr. Small at the toy shop. Then, Mr. Robinson carried Mr. Small to the toy shop. Mr. Robinson opened the door and they went in. The man who owned the toy shop told Mr. Small to help with all these toys.
First, Mr. Small showed a little boy how to work a toy train. Mr. Small demonstrated how it worked by driving the toy train around the shop...twice. Then, Mr. Small showed a little girl all the rooms in the dolls house. It took Mr. Small a long time to get out, but it helped the girl out significantly. And last of all, Mr. Small helped a boy do a jigsaw puzzle. At last, Mr. Small has found the perfect job for himself and he wasn't lonely anymore!
