The Angry Heads is a running gag throughout the series. It is first used in the episode, Books. The running gag involves heads that shout out Mr. Rude's name when he says "I'll give you (something)" after he farts. The heads are Little Miss Helpful (without her fanny pack), Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Bump, Mr. Tickle, Mr. Happy (sometimes), Little Miss Scary and Mr. Small and there's normally a green background.

The Angry Heads are voiced by Doug Lawrence (Sometimes), Carlos Alazraqui, Jeff Bennett, Dee Bradley Baker, Kath Soucie, Grey DeLisle, and Tom Kenny.

Variants

There are several Variants of the heads.

• A different colored background.
• Mr. Happy being present.
• Mr. Bump and Mr. Tickle's expressions changing to a sad and/or worried one when the heads are saying "rude". Same goes for Mr. Grumpy, but with a confused look.
• The heads moving, this only happens without the moving with Mr. Happy and expression variants.
• A special variant that only appears in "Canned Goods", where the second time they appear, the heads don't move and their mouths change from an "O" shape when they say "Rude” and remain that way until it cuts back.
• A special variant that only appears in ”Travel", where they are in different locations on a light orange background and the expression variant happens.
• A variant that only appears in "Jobs", where they are silent with different expressions in the music video of Objects. Also, this is also the only time they appear without Mr. Rude farting or burping.

• Travel (Only in US version, but with an orange background and the heads are in the locations they are in the Mr. Happy variant, with the exception of Mr. Small who is in a different location and Grumpy, Tickle and Bump's expression changes)
• Jobs (In the music video of objects, but don't speak, this is also the only time they appear without Mr. Rude farting or burping)
