BBC One is a British free-to-air television network owned and operated by the BBC. Originally launched on 2 November, 1936 and closed on 1 September, 1939, it was relaunched on 7 June, 1946 as BBC Television Services. It was renamed as BBC One on 4 October, 1997.
Involvement with Mr. Men[]
It was the very first channel to broadcast Mr. Men and Little Miss and aired both (the latter paired with reruns of the former) until 15 June, 1987.
