Dave Cooke (born 25 October, 1952) is a composer, musician, and actor known for recording music for film and TV both in UK and US.
Involvement with Mr. Men[]
He wrote the Mr. Men 1983 Theme (a.k.a. Mr. This and Mr. That) which was played in at the beginning of the 1970's Mr. Men cartoons in substitution to the original Mr. Men theme whenever the series was paired with a Little Miss cartoon.
He also wrote the Little Miss show song, All Friends Together, & Goodbye, Goodbye for the Little Miss series. He also composed Little Miss Shy's Theme and Little Miss Tiny's Theme
Interestingly, he also wrote four songs that were never shown in either series. Mister Clever, Mister Grumpy, Mister Worry, and Mister Skinny. What makes this really interesting is the fact that Mr. Clever and Mr. Skinny never received their own cartoon in the 1970s.
