Fish is a Season 1 episode of The Mr. Men Show. It first premiered on 19 February, 2008[1]
Synopsis[]
Little Miss Scary tries to find a fish scarier than her; Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small give Mr. Stubborn unconventional ice-fishing tips; and Mr. Grumpy and Mr. Bump fish around the great outdoors.
Plots[]
- Mr. Grumpy and Mr. Bump's Plot: Mr. Bump is out fishing salmon with Mr. Grumpy, but it turns out not to be as easy as expected when a salmon pulls Mr. Bump wildly through the river and a bear is also interested in fishing for salmon.
- Mr. Stubborn, Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small's Plot: Mr. Stubborn, Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small go ice fishing. Mr. Small and Mr. Nosey offer Mr. Stubborn advice on how to ice fish. Mr. Stubborn, for once, decides to take it and he soon catches a massive grey fish.
- Mr. Nervous' Plot: While feeding some fish in Mr. Grumpy's pet store, Mr. Nervous has a daydream where he is being attacked by hammerhead sharks underwater. (Not in the UK)
- Little Miss Daredevil and Little Miss Scary's Plot: Little Miss Daredevil and Little Miss Scary dive into Dillydale Lake to take pictures of dragonfish for Good Morning Dillydale. Little Miss Sunshine is too scared to look.
- Musical number: 'Fishes' by Mr. Nervous.
- Mr. Scatterbrain and Mr. Lazy's Plot: Mr. Scatterbrain shows a pickle who he calls a pickle fish. Mr. Lazy keeps saying that it's just a pickle but soon takes it as he learns that there is no work needed to be done in taking care of a pickle.

- Mr. Quiet tries feeding an orca a fish. A flock of seagulls make off with the fish and the orca laughs.
- A group of dolphins use Mr. Bounce as a ball.
- Little Miss Calamity tries to feed an orca. It eats her and then spits her out.

- This marks the first time where Mr. Grumpy wakes up Mr. Nervous from his daydream.
- This is the first episode to have three bumpers instead of four.
Errors[]
- Whales and dolphins appear in this episode, even though they are mammals, not fish.
- After the first bumper ends, the audio for the scene transition (Mr. Tickle's arms and his laughing) is out of sync.
- In the UK, the audio for his arms is out of sync still, but the laughing is heard during the entire transition with no mistakes.
