Mr. Men Wiki

Full Moon is a season 1 episode of The Mr. Men Show.

Synopsis[]

The search for the mysterious giant Dillydale Owl leaves Mr. Bump searching for band-aids; Mr. Stubborn and Mr. Rude embark on an out of this world adventure; and Mr. Nosy and Mr. Small help Little Miss Calamity capture a ghost.

Plots[]

  • Mr. Bump and Miss Scary's plot: Mr. Bump is off to find the Dillydale Giant Owl with Miss Scary who is an expert. She says that it will eat blue things (like Mr. Bump). When they find it, it licks Mr. Bump, and he quits.
  • Mr. Rude and Mr Stubborn's plot: Mr. Rude and Mr. Stubborn have been abducted by aliens. Mr. Stubborn thinks that no such thing exists and claims that it's all fake.
  • Miss Calamity, Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small's plot: A sheet falls on Miss Calamity while decorating her walls and she is mistaken for a ghost by Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small.
  • Music video (US version only): An instrumental music video featuring reused animation of Little Miss Scary from earlier episodes, as well as new footage of Mr. Grumpy and Mr. Scatterbrain.

Bumpers[]

Mr. Nosey is looking at the moon through a telescope with Mr. Small.

  1. Mr. Nosey sees the moon with Mr. Scatterbrain's face wink at him.
  2. Mr. Nosey sees Mr. Nervous being chased by aliens on the moon.
  3. Mr. Nosey sees another Mr. Small on the moon, only to see the original Mr. Small still with him.

Trivia[]

  • This is the first episode to have aliens.
  • In this episode, Mr. Stubborn doesn't show signs of being a werewolf. In the next episode, he does turn into a werewolf.
  • In the instrumental music video, there is reused animation from certain episodes. They include:
    • Books - Little Miss Scary as a flying vampire bat, but flies to the camera
    • Mall -
    • Collecting - The beginning of the episode where Miss Scary's masks are shown
    • Trains - Mr. Nervous seeing Miss Scary and his line "Oh, this can't be safe," changed to his "No no no no no no!" catchphrase in the UK version, while he doesn't say anything in the US.
    • Inventions - The last bumper; Little Miss Scary creating a smaller version of herself that scares the original
    • Farm - Little Miss Scary attempting to scare the crows away from the cornfield, but instead causes the corn themselves to be scared and fly away (Mr. Grumpy also disappears in the last scene)
    • Hobbies - The advertisement for Little Miss Scary's Terrifying Train Set; Little Miss Scary's lines "Totally scary! Totally fun!" (although she doesn't say anything)
    • Jobs: The episode's bumpers, except there are 4 clones of Little Miss Scary chasing Mr. Nervous
      • There are also cropped scenes from Amusement Park (with Mr. Tickle) and Adventure (with Little Miss Naughty).

Errors[]

  • In the music video, when the scene of the corn flying away from "Farm" is reused, Mr. Grumpy is nowhere to be seen.

Dub edits[]

  • Miss Scary says "Hoot!" in the US, but she says "Tweet!" and "Twoot!" in the UK

Deleted scene[]

  • Miss Scary just laughs, instead of both laughing and snorting
  • When the scene from "Trains" is reused, the part where Mr. Nervous says "Oh! This can't be safe!" is edited to "No! No, no, no! No!", instead of the dialogue not being present in the US version.
