Funny Faces is an arts and crafts page from the 1982 Annual.
Synopsis[]
Mr. Funny is a funny man. And, as you would imagine, he is very good at pulling funny faces and making his friends laugh.
You can make your friends laugh too, by making the funny card on the next page.
Instructions[]
What You Will Need[]
- A sheet of stiff paper
- Tracing paper
- Pencil and ruler
- Scissors
- Paints or crayons
- A paper clip
What To Do[]
- Cut and fold a sheet of paper to make a card about the same size as the one shown below.
- Trace Mr. Funny on to the front of the card and colour him with your paints or crayons. Unfold the car and cut a 'window' in his face as shown.
- With your ruler, measure a strip of card the same size as the one below and cut it out.
- Colour the strip the same colour as Mr. Funny's body. Now trace the mouth shapes on to the strip.
- Fold the card and place the 'mouth' strip between the two folded sheets. Mr. Funny's mouth should appear in the 'window' when you move the strip up and down.
- Fasten the two edges of the card together with a paper clip. Now you are ready to make someone laugh with those funny faces!
