Overview[]
Is It the Children's Fault When Their Parents Argue? (Est-ce la faute des enfants quand les parents se disputent ? in French) is a short story about questions and to understand why in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in April 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Louder than one could cover their ears with, Little Miss Loud answers the question posed in the title, shouting out: "OUCH! OUCH! OUCH! What a racket! OUCH! OUCH! OUCH! Enough is enough! When parents argue, they make even more noise than me! Even when they're not yelling, they bother you! They're so angry they don't realize it. And yet, it's not your fault! NOT AT ALL! Sometimes, it's true, the subject of their argument is their children. They don't agree on this or that. For example, whether you should be forced to eat spinach or not. Or whether you should learn music or play soccer. But that's their business! They don't need to argue to decide." while sympathizing with the reader.
