Overview[]
Little Miss Busy-Body Footrace (La course à pieds de madame Casse-pieds in French) is a story in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in April 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Plot[]
Little Miss Busy-Body is always talking about things that don't concern her, she's a real nuisance! When she meets Mr. Topsy-Turvy wearing his hat, she tells him, "You should wear your hat properly!" and to Miss Giggles, "You look stupid if you smile all the time!" Men and women have had enough! They've decided to teach the busybody a lesson. Today, they've all come together to watch and take part in a big foot race, and let Miss Busy-Body win! Why? Only one person knows! Mr. Clever says that she's trying so hard to get into the race, so they're going to put her against the wall. Everyone is trying so hard, except for Mr. Sneeze, who has a cold and can't go outside. Miss Pretty is dressed from head to toe in a beautiful houndstooth outfit, and Mr. Mischief snorts and says he'll help, annoying Miss Busy-Body into acting the same way! Mr. Dizzy, who is as stupid as a human being and believes everything, looks at his feet and says, they're not broken. Mr. Uppity gaffes and says, "Miss Busy-Body, how rude!" Mr. Crosspatch is on the ball, Mr. Bounce jumps on both feet, Miss Fun is in high spirits, Miss Fickle doesn't know what to do to dance, and Mr. Strong waits patiently at the finish line. The race goes as planned. Miss Bossy gives the starting signal and the race starts... Mr. Topsy-Turvy starts off in the opposite direction, Mr. Clumsy gets his foot tangled in his shoelace, Mr. Muddle goes left, Miss Contrary jumps into the pool, and Mr. Slow is still at the starting line. Now, the winner of the footrace is Meddlesome! She arrives excited and exclaiming, "I won! I won!" Then Mr. Strong congratulates her and presents her with a beautiful centipede as the first prize! Everyone bursts into laughter. Why a centipede? That's great! By the time she's done bothering the millipede, men and women will finally be able to enjoy peaceful days together!

Trivia[]
- This is the eighth story in the series to feature a large amount of characters, as the first is Mr. Topsy-Turvy's Jobs, the second What a Wonderful Day for Mr. Tickle!, the third Little Miss Contrary's Birthday, the fourth Mr. Greedy's Party, the fifth Little Miss Dotty's Party, the sixth Little Miss Show-Off's Gift, and the seventh Little Miss Scatterbrain's Puzzle. Surprisingly this has the same number limit of characters appearing in like the seventh, which is twenty-one.
- An episode of the 1995 cartoon has Mr. Mischief, Mr. Topsy-Turvy and Mr. Dizzy also partake in a footrace along with several other men, and having a round Little Miss [who is Little Miss Late] win the race, and that was taken the inspiration of it, which is why the story is based off said episode.
- Mr. Muddle also went the opposite direction in a similar story to this, although It was released 22 years before Miss Busy-Body participating in a footrace with many characters.
