- At the end of this book, Little Miss Dotty tells the readers to count 181 lowercase I's. In the US copies, there are 193 lowercase I's due to the name change.
- Despite her name being changed to Little Miss Ditzy in the US version, she is still called Little Miss Dotty in the US dub of Mr. Men and Little Miss.
- She is good friends with Mr. Silly and Mr. Nonsense.
- Even though Little Miss Dotty is the seventeenth book in the Little Miss series, she is placed fourteenth in the Little Miss Library, between Little Miss Chatterbox and Little Miss Late which were the sixteenth and eleventh books in the Little Miss series, respectively, though they are respectively placed thirteenth and fifteenth in the Little Miss Library.
