Narrator: Little Miss Greedy's Strange Illness
(The title card disappears)
(The episode begins at the sweets shop. Mr. Busy walks by pushing a shopping trolley.)
Narrator: Miss Greedy has been invited to tea at Miss Bossy's house. So she has decided to take along some sweets as a gift.
(The scene pans to Little Miss Greedy picking sweets)
Miss Greedy: Licorice, strawberry bonbons, jelly crocodiles, marshmallows...
(Little Miss Greedy eats a few of the sweets)
Miss Greedy (mouthful): Mmmm! Toffee, candy cloves...Mmmm!
(Little Miss Greedy licks her fingers before meeting up with Mrs. Crumb)
Miss Greedy (normally): And...could you deliver them to Miss Bossy's at five o'clock precisely please?
(Mrs. Crumb nods her head)
Mrs. Crumb: Certainly.
(The scene cuts to Little Miss Bossy's house. Little Miss Greedy, Little Miss Bossy, and Little Miss Splendid are there having tea and playing croquet. Little Miss Bossy is pouring some more tea for her guests)
Miss Bossy: More tea for anyone?
Miss Greedy: Oh, no thank you. I don't drink tea anymore.
Miss Bossy: No tea? Well, I'll get you some orange juice!
(Little Miss Bossy goes inside to get some orange juice for Little Miss Greedy. Little Miss Splendid sits at the table and drinks a cup of tea)
Miss Greedy: I know you'll laugh...(giggles)…but tea makes me fat! (giggles)
(Little Miss Bossy returns with a carton of orange juice and places it on the table)
Miss Bossy: It's not tea that makes people fat!
(The camera cuts over to Little Miss Splendid)
Miss Bossy (offscreen): It's sweets!
(Little Miss Splendid takes out her handheld mirror)
Miss Splendid: Tea makes my skin glow like a buttercup.
(It's Little Miss Bossy's turn at croquet. She hits the ball hard)
Miss Bossy: Hooray!
(The ball bounces off the hoop and hits Little Miss Bossy on the head)
Miss Bossy: Oh!
Miss Greedy: (snickers)
Miss Bossy: It's not tea, it's sweets!
Miss Splendid: Sweets you say?
Miss Bossy: That's right
(It's Little Miss Greedy's turn at croquet. She struggles to aim her mallet right)
Miss Greedy: I never touched sweets.
(Little Miss Greedy gently hits the ball but it winds up hitting the side of the hoop)
Miss Greedy (offscreen): Oh! Missed!
(Little Miss Splendid walks over for her turn and she hits the ball through the hoop)
Miss Splendid: Do you think sweets would make me fat too?
Miss Bossy: They rot your teeth! Sweets are bad for you!
(Little Miss Splendid silently agrees just as she hears a bell near the front gate)
Miss Splendid: Huh?
(Mrs. Crumb is shown at the front gate with the sweets Little Miss Greedy bought)
Mrs. Crumb: This is from Miss Greedy.
(Little Miss Bossy takes the box from the shop keeper)
Miss Bossy: I didn't ask for any presents.
Miss Greedy: It's a surprise!
(Little Miss Bossy dumps the box out to find all the sweets Little Miss Greedy bought inside it)
Miss Bossy: Oh no! I don't believe it!
(Little Miss Greedy walks over and takes one of the sweets from out of the box)
Miss Greedy: Oh! Chocolate éclair! My favorite!
(Little Miss Bossy snatches the sweet out of Little Miss Greedy's hand)
Miss Greedy: Oh!
Miss Bossy: Give me those horrid things and I'll get rid of them!
(Little Miss Bossy picks up the box of sweets and takes them inside to dispose of them. Much to Little Miss Greedy's surprise)
Miss Splendid (offscreen): Humph!
(The scene cuts to Little Miss Splendid sitting at the table)
Miss Splendid: Horrid sweets! Absolutely horrid.
Miss Bossy: More tea for anyone?
Miss Greedy: Oh. You've done enough Miss Bossy. Why don't you let me do it?
(The scene transitions to Little Miss Bossy's turn at croquet.)
Miss Bossy: Put the milk in the cups first! It's my turn!
(Little Miss Bossy hits the ball much more gently than last time and it goes through the hoop. The scene cuts to Little Miss Greedy snooping around the kitchen for the discarded sweets. Starting with the inside of the fridge)
Miss Greedy: No.
(Little Miss Greedy closes the fridge and looks inside a pot)
Miss Greedy: Not there.
(Little Miss Greedy puts the lid back on the pot)
Miss Greedy: Hmmm...I wonder.
(Little Miss Greedy takes the lid off the rubbish bin and finds it full of sweets.)
Miss Greedy: Ooh!
(Little Miss Greedy starts gobbling as many sweets down as possible)
Miss Greedy (mouthful): Ooh! Yummy! Sweets! Wonderful sweets!
(The tea kettle begins to whistle)
Miss Bossy (offscreen): Is the tea ready yet?
(Little Miss Bossy pokes her head through the window)
Miss Bossy: Whatever is taking you so long? It's your turn to play!
Miss Greedy (mouthful): It's coming! It's coming!
(The camera pans to the ground showing all the wrappers from the countless sweets Little Miss Greedy just ate. The scene then cuts back outside where Little Miss Greedy rejoins Little Miss Bossy and Little Miss Splendid. Because she ate so many sweets out of the rubbish bin so fast, Little Miss Greedy starts to feel ill)
Miss Greedy (normally): Ooh! I'm feeling a little...heavy.
(Little Miss Bossy pours some tea for herself and some orange juice for Little Miss Greedy. Little Miss Greedy takes her cup)
Miss Greedy: Just the thing! (hiccups) Oh! I'm so thirsty.
(Just as Little Miss Greedy takes a sip of the orange juice, Little Miss Greedy turns green)
Miss Greedy: Oh! My head is spinning! Ooh!
(Little Miss Greedy collapses to the ground)
Miss Greedy: Ooh! I've got tummy ache!
Miss Splendid: You wouldn't have tummy ache if you'd had a cup of tea.
(Little Miss Bossy looks into the cup of orange juice Little Miss Greedy drank out of)
Miss Bossy: Food poisoning! That's what it is!
Miss Splendid: We must get a doctor!
Miss Greedy: (moans)
Miss Bossy: It's terrible I'm going to complain!
(The scene transitions to Little Miss Bossy on numerous phones calling as many people as possible)
Miss Bossy: Hello? Doctor? It's an emergency!
(Little Miss Bossy hangs up the phone and answers another)
Miss Bossy: Hello! Police! help!
(Little Miss Bossy hangs up the phone and answers another)
Miss Bossy: Hello!
(Little Miss Bossy hangs up the phone and answers another)
Miss Bossy: Orange-ola Fruit Juice Company!?
(Little Miss Bossy hangs up the phone and answers another while the camera pans to Dr. Makeyouwell examining Little Miss Greedy)
Miss Bossy (offscreen): Hello? Mr. Mayor!
(The scene transitions to Little Miss Greedy resting in bed)
Narrator: Little Miss Greedy is most definitely unwell. But we know it's not the fruit juice, don't we!
Miss Greedy: (moans)
(Little Miss Bossy opens the door and walks into the room)
Miss Bossy: Miss Greedy! Miss Greedy wake up!
(Little Miss Greedy wakes up)
Miss Bossy (offscreen): You're in the newspaper!
(Little Miss Bossy reads the newspaper)
Miss Bossy: "The orange juice mystery. Miss Greedy poisoned by a glass of orange juice."
(Little Miss Greedy's color returns to normal and she takes the thermometer out of her mouth)
Miss Bossy: "The Orange-ola Fruit Juice Company has decided to take all its produce off the shelves."
(Little Miss Greedy hears a bell, gets out of bed, and walks to the window to see who's there)
Miss Greedy: Huh?
(The camera cuts outside to reveal Mrs. Crumb calling out to Little Miss Greedy)
Mrs. Crumb: Hello? Miss Greedy! Look! To apologize...
(A truck dumps a ton of containers full of sweets)
Mrs. Crumb: The Orange-ola Fruit Juice company has sent you your weight in sweets!
(The scene cuts back to a horrified Little Miss Greedy)
Miss Greedy: Oh...no!
(Little Miss Greedy faints and lands on the ground with a thud just as the scene fades to black)

(The episode begins at the candy store. Mr. Busy walks by pushing a shopping cart.)
Narrator: Miss Greedy has been invited to a party at Miss Bossy's house. She's taking some candy as a gift. How sweet!
(The scene pans to Little Miss Greedy picking candy)
Miss Greedy: Licorice, chocolate peanuts and...jelly beans! Oh! And also...some ooh...marshmallows! (giggles excitedly)
(Little Miss Greedy eats a few of the candy)
Miss Greedy (mouthful): Mmmm! Caramel! Mwah! And fudge...Mmmm! Mwah!
(Little Miss Greedy licks her fingers before meeting up with the shop keeper at the register)
Miss Greedy (normally): And could you deliver them to Miss Bossy's at exactly three o'clock please?
(The shop keeper nods her head)
Shop Keeper: Of course.
(The scene cuts to Little Miss Bossy's house. Little Miss Greedy, Little Miss Bossy, and Little Miss Splendid are there having tea and playing croquet. Little Miss Bossy is pouring some more tea for her guests)
Miss Bossy: More tea for anyone?

Miss Greedy: (groans) I've got a stomach ache!
Miss Splendid: You wouldn't have a stomach ache if you had a cup of tea.
(Little Miss Bossy looks into the cup of orange juice Little Miss Greedy drank out of)
Miss Bossy: Food poisoning! That's what it is!
Miss Splendid: We should call a doctor!
Miss Greedy: (moans)

(Little Miss Bossy opens the door and walks into the room)
Miss Bossy: Miss Greedy! Miss Greedy wake up!
(Little Miss Greedy wakes up)
Miss Bossy (offscreen): You're in the newspaper!
