Little Miss Magic Teaches Mr. Uppity a Lesson (Madame Magie donne une leçon à monsieur Malpoli in French) is a story in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in 1997, and then re-released in 2000.
Plot[]
One morning, while Little Miss Magic was having breakfast, she heard a knock on the door. When Miss Magic said something, the door automatically opened, and Mr. Quiet (who is ever quieter than usual) stood on the doormat outside the house and said in a quiet voice that "terrible things" were happening, proving that Mr. Uppity was shouting horrible words.
So Miss Magic followed him to the village, where the earthworms were red with rage and the birds were repeating "Shut him up! Shut him up!"
At the end of the street, Mr. Uppity was shouting, growling, and rampaging. He was uttering words that no one could imitate. Miss Magic displeased, joins him who was in a bad mood, looked him straight in the eye and said only "Abracadabra!" Then, colorful bubbles came out of his's mouth, flew towards the clouds, and pop! Everyone started laughing.
Despite Mr. Uppity shouting, growling, and popping bubbles of all colors, he told her to stop and promised not to say any more bad words. Exhausted, he sits down on the sidewalk, and Miss Magic smiles and asks, "Finished?" To which he replies, "Yes,, finished." then she turns around and disappears, like magic!
