Make a Flag with Mr. Tickle is an arts and crafts page from the 1999 Annual.

Synopsis[]

Remember the flags Mr. Tickle made for six of his friends back in the "Fly the Flag with Mr. Tickle" activity? You can make your own flags too! Here's how you can make your own flag for one of your favourite Mr. Men and Little Miss friends.

Instructions[]

What You Will Need[]

A sheet of white paper
Pens, crayons or paint pens
Safety scissors
Drinking straw

What To Do[]

Cut out a rectangle from the white paper. It should measure 20cm wide and 15cm high.
Decide which of your Mr. Men or Little Miss friends you are going to make the flag for. Draw a design in pencil on one side. You can see some ideas on the side of this page.
Colour in your design. Wait for it to dry if you have used paints.
Use sticky tape to fasten the straw to the back of the flag. Now you can fly your flag with Mr. Tickle.
