Movies (Films in France) is the fourth episode (the second part of the second episode) in The Mr. Men Show.
Synopsis[]
Mr. Scatterbrain's friends turn the cinema into a zoo; Mr. Rude is swept off his feet while working at the take away stand and Mr. Bump and Little Miss Sunshine make their screen debuts.
Plots[]
- Mr. Scatterbrain and Mr. Lazy's plot: Mr. Scatterbrain decides to go to the movies, but can't decide how many tickets he wants for him and his animal friends, to Mr. Lazy's chagrin.
- Mr. Rude's plot: Mr. Rude runs the concession stands, which could spell disaster when making more popcorn.
- Miss Calamity's plot (In the US version only): Miss Calamity is assigned to put the film in the theatre, but she accidentally gets sucked into it. She then appears on the big screen.
- Mr. Persnickety, Mr. Noisy and Mr. Messy's plot: Mr. Persnickety is having a hard time tolerating noise where he was sitting, especially when he is near both Mr. Noisy and Mr. Messy. Mr. Messy's antics eventually get Mr. Persnickety kicked out by Mr. Noisy alerting Mr. Strong.
- Musical number: Reach High by Little Miss Sunshine (US voice in both versions)
- Trailer plot: An advertisement for "Gamma Goo from Planet 9" (with Mr. Bounce as the announcer) is seen as Mr. Bump as Raphe Daniels must help Miss Sunshine as Victoria Well-Beloved stop the goo made by Miss Scary as Dementicon.

Goofs[]
- Mr. Rude still stuck in the popcorn machine and being pryed out by Mr. Strong in Little Miss Calamity's plot, however, when Little Miss Calamity is shown in the film reel, Mr. Rude is sitting in the audience.
- It's possible that Mr. Strong might have got Mr. Rude out of the popcorn machine after hanging up on Little Miss Calamity.
- The mustard on Mr. Persnickety's face disappears when Mr. Noisy says "That's it!".
- Mr. Noisy's mouth is kept open for a while.
- At the end of the video when it shows the Concession Stand again, the other Mr. Men and Little Miss can be seen on the left side of the screen
Real-World References[]
- The movie at the beginning is similar to Godzilla and King Kong.
- The whole trailer for Gamma Goo From Planet 9 is a reference to the 1958 movie The Blob. The goo in the trailer is also stopped in the same way as the climax of the movie, by using Co2 Extinguishers.
