Narrator: This is a story about Mr. Daydream.
(The clouds start merging together)
Narrator: You know what he looks like, don't you, because you've seen him at the beginning.
(The clouds start taking the shape of a boy)
Narrator: It's also the story about a little boy called Jack. You don't know what he looks like. So...
(The clouds fade away and Jack appears where the clouds were)
Narrator: ...here's a picture of him. Now Jack...
(The camera cuts to Jack sitting at the kitchen table)
Narrator: ...was a very well-behaved little boy. He always ate up his lunch.
(The camera cuts to Jack sitting in his bed)
Narrator: He always went to bed when he was told.
(Jack goes to sleep)
Narrator: He always said please and thank you.
(The screen briefly fades to black)
Narrator: But...
(The scene transitions to Jack standing towards the right of the screen)
Narrator: ...Jack...
(A blue thought bubble appears above in the upper left corner to show that Jack is daydreaming. The camera zooms in on the thought bubble)
Narrator: ...was a daydreamer.
(In the thought bubble, Jack is shown fishing and has caught a giant fish)
Narrator: Whenever he was supposed to be think about something...
(Another blue thought bubble appears above in the upper left corner to show that the Jack in the daydream is daydreaming. The camera zooms in on the thought bubble)
Narrator: ...he found himself thinking about...
(The scene warbles into a daydream about Jack as an astronaut landing his rocket on the room. Jack is shown next to the rocket)
Narrator: ...something else.
(The camera zooms out to show the rocket fully in the frame)
Narrator: Daydreaming.
(The camera stops zooming out. The daydream fantasy ends and the scene cuts to Jack sitting at his desk at school next to a window. The camera zooms out from Jack)
Narrator: One day, Jack was at school.
(The camera stops zooming out)
Narrator: He was sitting at his desk,
(The camera cuts over to the teacher, who is reading a lesson from a book)
Teacher (overlap): (incoherent talking)
Narrator (overlap): Listening to the teacher talking about history.
(The camera cuts back over to Jack)
Narrator: Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye,
(The camera starts zooming in towards the open window Jack is sitting behind)
Narrator: Jack saw something outside the window,
(The camera stops zooming in and Mr. Daydreams fades in on the grass shown through the window)
Narrator: On the grass in front of the school.
(Mr. Daydream fully fades into the frame)
Narrator: It was a small, cloud-shaped something.
(The camera cuts over to a surprised Jack)
Narrator: Jack couldn't believe his eyes.
(The camera cuts outside to show Mr. Daydream looking up towards Jack (in this case, he's looking up towards the upper right corner of the screen))
Narrator: The figure looked at Jack looking at him,
(Mr. Daydream smiles a big smile)
Narrator: Smiled,
(Mr. Daydream starts waving to Jack with his left hand)
Narrator: And waved.
(The camera cuts back to the teacher, who is still reading the lesson.)
Teacher (overlap): (incoherent talking)
Narrator (overlap): Jack looked at his teacher, who was still talking. And he got up, quietly. Ever so quietly!
(The camera cuts over to Jack quietly walking to the left side of the screen and out of the frame)
Narrator: And slipped out.
...
Mr. Daydream: I'm uh, I'm going off on an adventure.
Narrator: Mr. Daydream said to Jack.
(The camera zooms in on Mr. Daydream)
Mr. Daydream: Would you like to come with me?
(The camera zooms back out to show Jack and Mr. Daydream in the same frame)
Jack: Oh yes, please!
Narrator: Replied Jack.
...
(A loud music note appears on the screen and vibrates to the sound of Mr. Daydream's whistle)
Mr. Daydream (offscreen): (whistles)
...
Mr. Daydream: Hold on!
Narrator: Said Mr. Daydream.
...
(A loud music note appears on the screen and vibrates to the sound of Mr. Daydream's whistle)
Mr. Daydream (offscreen): (whistles)
(The camera cuts back to the jaws of the crocodile)
...
Jack: Phew
Narrator: Said Jack.
(The camera cuts back to the crocodile)
Crocodile: Foiled again!
(The crocodile frowns)
Narrator: Said the crocodile.
(The camera cuts back up to Mr. Daydream and Jack flying on the giant bird. They fly past clouds as well)
...
(The camera cuts to the giant bird taking Mr. Daydream and Jack to Australia)
Narrator: They did!
(The scene changes to Jack holding a boomerang)
Narrator: And Jack learned how to throw a boomerang.
(Jack throws the boomerang out of the frame on the right side of the screen. Jack then turns towards the left side of the screen)
Narrator: So it always came back to him.
(Jack catches the boomerang as it comes back around. The camera then cuts back to Mr. Daydream riding the giant bird)

(The camera cuts back to the baffled Jack)
Narrator: It was true. He had.
(The camera starts zooming in on the window that was behind Jack)
Narrator: (chuckles)
(The camera stops zooming in and Mr. Daydream appears on the grass outside)
Narrator: Or had he?
(Mr. Daydream waves goodbye to the viewers and then the episode ends)

Mr. Daydream: Let's go and explore!

Elephant: Would you like a lift?
(The camera cuts down to Mr. Daydream)
Mr. Daydream: Yes, please!
Narrator: Replied Mr. Daydream.
(The elephant wraps his trunk around Mr. Daydream.)
Narrator: And the elephant reached out his trunk,
(The elephant uses his trunk to lift Mr. Daydream off the ground)
Narrator: Picked him up,
(The elephant lifts Mr. Daydream up and out of the frame)
Narrator: And put him on his back.
...
Elephant: Bye-bye!
Narrator: And went off,
(The elephant walks away)
Narrator: Back into the jungle.
(The camera cuts back to Jack and Mr. Daydream)
Jack: How are we going to cross the river?
Narrator: Jack asked Mr. Daydream.
(The camera cuts to a different angle that shows Mr. Daydream and Jack facing the camera)
Crocodile (offscreen): Perhaps I can be of assistance.
Narrator: They looked,
(The camera pans down and shows the viewers a crocodile in the river)
Narrator: And there was a crocodile.
(The camera stops moving)
Crocodile: Use my back.
Narrator: Suggested the crocodile.
(The crocodile opens up his mouth, showing several rows of teeth inside. The camera zooms out to show Jack and Mr. Daydream in the same frame as the crocodile. The crocodile closes his mouth)

(A loud music note appears on the screen and vibrates to the sound of Mr. Daydream's whistle)
Mr. Daydream (offscreen): (whistles)
(The camera cuts back to the jaws of the crocodile)

Jack: Phew!
Narrator: Said Jack.
(The camera cuts back to the crocodile)
Crocodile: Foiled again!
(The crocodile frowns)
Narrator: Said the crocodile.
(The camera cuts back up to Mr. Daydream and Jack flying on the giant bird. They fly past clouds as well)
Mr. Daydream: Well, heh, I promised you an adventure, didn't I?
Narrator: Grinned Mr. Daydream.
Jack: You certainly did.
Narrator: Said Jack.
(The camera zooms in on Mr. Daydream)
Mr. Daydream: And now,
Narrator: Said Mr. Daydream.
(Mr. Daydream points up with his left hand)
Mr. Daydream: I think we'll go to Australia!
(The camera cuts to the giant bird taking Mr. Daydream and Jack to Australia)
Narrator: And they did!
(The scene changes to Jack holding a boomerang)
(The camera cuts to Mr. Daydream riding on the giant bird and pointing up with his left hand)
Mr. Daydream: And now,
Narrator: Said Mr. Daydream.
Mr. Daydream: I think we'll go to the North Pole!
(The camera cuts to the giant bird taking Mr. Daydream and Jack to the North Pole)

Mr. Daydream: And now,
