- This book features a few scenes not seen in the episode.
- Mr. Scatterbrain purchasing the Monkey Mop 3000 at Little Miss Helpful's Gift Shop.
- Little Miss Chatterbox calling Mr. Grumpy back after the marching band arrives and the latter agreeing to go out with her at the end.
- In the scene where Mr. Grumpy is watching the movie, the parts with Mr. Scatterbrain (sans the marching band) and Little Miss Chatterbox are swapped.
- The scene where Mr. Stubborn and Mr. Messy bake the cake happens first.
- It is revealed that the scene Mr. Grumpy and Little Miss Chatterbox had in "Fair" was concurrent to the events of "Birthday."
- The scene where Mr. Scatterbrain tries to wrap his present to Mr. Grumpy is not shown.
- Little Miss Calamity is not seen in the book due to it being released after Chorion cut her character from the show.
- Noticeably, she is replaced with Little Miss Helpful during the scene where everybody shouts "Surprise!" Same with Mr. Bump who is repalced by Mr. Lazy.
