(The episode begins with Mr. Impossible standing in the middle of a white screen)
Narrator: Mr. Impossible could do the most amazing things.
(The camera cuts to a house in a nice area surrounded by bushes. The camera zooms out to show Mr. Impossible far behind the house)
Narrator: For instance, he could jump over a house.
(Mr. Impossible jumps over the house and land very close to the viewers. Mr. Impossible winks to the viewers)
Narrator: Impossible.
(Mr. Impossible jumps over the house backwards. The screen transitions to Mr. Impossible standing in the middle of a field with three flowers)
Narrator: And Mr. Impossible could make himself invisible. All he had to do was stand there...
(Mr. Impossible starts fading away)
Narrator: And think about becoming invisible,
(Mr. Impossible becomes fully invisible)
Narrator: And he became invisible. Impossible.
(Mr. Impossible reappears. The scene then fades to a close-up of Mr. Impossible)
Narrator: And...
(The camera zooms out)
Narrator: Mr. Impossible could fly.
(Mr. Impossible starts flapping his arms)
Narrator: All he had to do was stand there and flap his arms about, and...
(Mr. Impossible starts to fly)
Narrator: Off he flew. Impossible.
(Mr. Impossible is shown flying above a small village with his eyes closed. The camera then cuts to Mr. Impossible's house, which is located at the top of a tree)
Narrator: He lived in an impossible looking house.
(The camera zooms out to show the house and tree)
Narrator: Have you ever seen a house in such an impossible place? Of course not.
(The screen transitions to Mr. Impossible going for a walk in the woods)
Narrator: One day, he was walking in the woods, when he met a boy called William.
(The camera briefly zooms in on Mr. Impossible. Then, the camera cuts to and zooms in on William)
Narrator: William was on his way to school.
(The camera zooms out to show both William and Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: Hello there.
Narrator: Said Mr. Impossible.
William: Hello,
Narrator: Said William.
William: I'm William.
Mr. Impossible: I'm Impossible.
William: Really?
Narrator: Said William.
Mr. Impossible: Sure am.
Narrator: Smiled Mr. Impossible.
(The camera cuts to William)
William: Can you do impossible things?
Narrator: Asked William.
(The camera cuts to Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: Haven't come across anything I couldn't do.
(The camera zooms out to show both William and Mr. Impossible)
Narrator: William thought.
(William points upwards)
William: Can you climb up that tree?
Narrator: He asked, pointing to the biggest tree in the wood.
(The camera zooms in on Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: I can do better than that,
Narrator: Replied Mr. Impossible.
Mr. Impossible: I can walk up that tree.
(The camera cuts to Mr. Impossible walking up the tree)
Narrator: And he did.
(Upon Mr. Impossible reaching the top of the tree, the camera cuts back to William)
Narrator: William thought again.
William: Can you, can you stand on one hand?
Narrator: He asked.
(Mr. Impossible floats back down to the ground)
Mr. Impossible: Oh, I can do better than that,
Narrator: Replied Mr. Impossible.
(The camera zooms out to show both William and Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: I can stand on no hands!
Narrator: And he did.
(Mr. Impossible takes his hat off and turns upside down. He is shown not standing on his hands but floating in midair upside down)
William (offscreen): Huh!
(The camera cuts to William)
William: That's impossible!
Narrator: Replied William.
(The camera zooms out to show both William and Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: Sure is.
Narrator: Replied Mr. Impossible.
(The camera cuts to William)
Narrator: Then William remembered that he was on his way to school.
(The camera zooms out to show both William and Mr. Impossible)
William: Why don't you come with me?
Narrator: He asked.
Mr. Impossible: But, uh, I've never been to a school before.
(The camera cuts to William)
William: Then it's time you did.
Narrator: Replied William.
William: Come on!
(The camera zooms in on William's face and transitions to William and Mr. Impossible sitting in the back of the class with eight other students present)
Students: (incoherent chattering)
Narrator: William and Mr. Impossible sat at the back of William's classroom with all the other children.
(The camera cuts to the teacher standing at the front of the classroom)
Narrator: The teacher came in, but didn't notice that there was somebody extra in his class that morning.
Teacher: Morning children.
Narrator: He said.
(The teacher points to the blackboard)
Teacher: I have a very difficult sum for you to do today.
(The camera zooms in on the teacher)
Teacher: It will take you most of the morning to work out the answer.
(The camera cuts to the teacher writing the difficult sum on the board. The sum is 4 + 3 + 2 + 7 + 5 + 1 + 9 - 2 - 7 - 8 - 5 - 4 - 3 * 2 * 4 * 5 * 3 * 7 / 2 / 4 / 10 + 2 = ?. The camera then shows the viewers the addition part of the sum)
Narrator: It really was the most difficult sum William had ever seen in the whole of his life. Full of adding up,
(The camera shows the viewers the subtraction part of the sum)
Narrator: And taking away,
(The camera shows the viewers the multiplication part of the sum)
Narrator: And multiplications,
(The camera shows the viewers the division part of the sum)
Narrator: And divisions,
(The camera zooms out and shows the viewer the whole sum)
Narrator: And other things Willian didn't enjoy. The teacher was right. It would indeed take most of the morning to work out the answer, if not most of the afternoon as well.
(The camera cuts over to Mr. Impossible whispering into William's ear)
Narrator: Mr. Impossible whispered in William's ear.
(William raises his hand with a smile on his face)
Narrator: William put up his hand.
(The camera cuts to the teacher)
Teacher: Yes, William?
Narrator: Said the teacher
Teacher: Is there something about the sum that you don't understand?
(The camera cuts back to Mr. Impossible and William)
William: Please sir,
Narrator: Said William.
William: Is the answer 23?
(The camera cuts back to the teacher and slowly zooms out from his surprised face)
Narrator: The teacher was very, absolutely, totally, completely amazed.
Teacher: How did you work out the sum so quickly?
Narrator: He asked.
Teacher: It's impossible.
(The camera cuts to the students. Mr. Impossible is shown behind a boy with short blonde hair)
Mr. Impossible (from behind the blonde boy): Ain't nothing impossible, mister!
(The camera zooms in on Mr. Impossible)
Narrator: Said Mr. Impossible from the back of the class.
(Mr. Impossible pops up from behind the blonde boy)
Narrator: And stood up.
(The camera cuts back to the teacher)
Teacher: Well I never did.
(The camera zooms in on the amazed teacher)
Narrator: Said the teacher.
(The camera cuts back to Mr. Impossible, William, and the other eight students. Mr. Impossible is now in front of all the students)
Narrator: After that, Mr. Impossible spent all day at the school.
(The camera cuts to Mr. Impossible reading the book "John Mouse" upside down)
Narrator: He showed the teacher how he could read a book upside down.
(The camera cuts back to William and his fellow classmates)
Students: But, that's impossible!
Narrator: Said the children who were watching.
(The camera cuts back to Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: Yes, sir!
Narrator: Said Mr. Impossible.
(The camera zooms out)
Narrator: Then William asked Mr. Impossible if he would like to play in the school football match.
Mr. Impossible: Sure would.
Narrator: Replied Mr. Impossible.
Mr. Impossible: But, I ain't never played football before.
(The camera cuts outside where William and Mr. Impossible are playing football (soccer in America))
Narrator: And you know what he did?
(Mr. Impossible kicks the football high into the sky)
Narrator: He kicked the football...
(The football is shown high in the sky and pass a smiling moon)
Narrator: So high into the air,
(The football lands back on the ground with snow covering the top of the football)
Narrator: That when it came back down, it had snow on it! Impossible! Then, it was time to go home.
(The camera zooms in on the football and transitions to the camera zooming out from the teacher and William's classmates)
Narrator: Mr. Impossible said goodbye to all the people at the school.
(The camera cuts to Mr. Impossible and William)
Narrator: And then, he said goodbye to William.
(The camera cuts to William)
William: Goodbye, Mr. Impossible.
Narrator: Said William.
(The camera cuts to Mr. Impossible)
Mr. Impossible: So long, William.
Narrator: Said Mr. Impossible.
(The camera zooms out to show that Mr. Impossible was gone and William was all alone)
Narrator: And just disappeared.
(William turns to the viewers and rubbed his eyes)
Narrator: William rubbed his eyes, and went home.
(The camera zooms in on William before cutting to William's mother and father in front of their house)
Narrator: William's mother and father were waiting for him.
William's Mother and Father: Hello, William.
Narrator: They said.
William's Mother and Father: Did you have a good day at school?
(The camera cuts to William)
William: Yes.
Narrator: He replied.
William: And I met someone who can do anything in the world!
(The camera cuts back to William's mother and father, who were laughing at William's response)
William's Mother and Father: (laughing) Oh really, William?
Narrator: They both laughed.
William's Mother and Father: You're, you're impossible!
(The camera cuts to William)
Narrator: William smiled, and went inside.
(The camera zooms in on William and the scene transitions to Mr. Impossible, who was listening in on the conversation from miles away)
Narrator: And, a hundred miles away, a small figure was listening to what William's mother and father were saying.
(Mr. Impossible smiles)
Narrator: And then he went to sleep.
(Mr. Impossible turns upside down and the camera zooms out to show Mr. Impossible sleeping while standing on his head)
Narrator: Standing on his head! And we all know that is downright impossible!
(Mr. Impossible opens one eye)
Mr. Impossible: Yes, sir!
