Overview[]
Mr. Mischief's Surprise Brioche (La brioche surprise de monsieur Farceur in French) is a cooking activity in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in April 1999 as part to mark the celebration of Easter, and re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
What's in the brioche? It's a surprise! But you're going to make it yourself. With Mr. Mischief, you'd better be careful!
Ingredients[]
- Spread
- Large brioche
- Jam
- Sugar
- Ribbon
- Wooden skewer
Recipe[]
- Let a grown-up cut the brioche. They remove the top and the bottom.
- They cut and remove the crumb from the brioche and replace the sides on the bottom.
- Being very careful, cut the crumb into thin slices. If it's too difficult, let a grown-up do it.
- Make small sandwiches with the slices. Fill them with jam, spread, butter and sugar, or butter and cocoa...
- Place the small sandwiches back in the brioche, one behind the other.
- Make two holes in the lid. Pass two pieces of ribbon through the holes and hold them in place with a wooden skewer.
- Put the lid back on the brioche.
