Mr. No does not agree with anyone on anything.
One day he meets Little Miss Yes. She invites him to come over to her house for tea, but he declines. As he continues on his way, he feels very sad and lonely as one can be.
He meets Mr. Happy shortly after. Mr. Happy asks Mr. No if he is happy, and Mr. No answers with "no!". Mr. Happy then tells him that one day he will be happy, which he also replies to with "no". When Mr. No continues on his way, he hopes he will one day become happy.
Mr. No then meets Mr. Tickle, who asks if he can tickle him. Mr. No of course says "no" and Mr. Tickle starts to sadly walk away. Mr. No then says "no" to him going, and Mr. Tickle comes back to tickle him. The tickle does not cheer Mr. No up, however, and Mr. Tickle leaves again feeling unhappy.
Little Miss Fun is the next one to meet Mr. No. She asks him if he wants to dance with her, and he says "no" to her. She walks away, and Mr. No starts feeling sadder and more lonely than ever before.
Mr. No then gets an amazing idea. He stops in town quickly, then goes to visit Little Miss Yes. She invites him in to have tea, but before he can disagree, he gives her a large bouquet of flowers! Little Miss Yes invites Mr. No over for tea the next day, but he disagrees, and chooses to have tea with her that day like she initially offered.
Moral: Never say Never.

Trivia[]
- Mr. No once appeared in a set of Mr. Men stickers from 1996.
- Mr. No was never published in English. The likeliest reason for this is that his book sent off a negative message.
- He is the first character to share his name with another Mr. Man, being Mr. No from the game Mr. Men: Mishaps and Mayhem. The second is Little Miss Scary, who shares her name with one of the Little Miss Spice Girls.
- Had he been published in English, he would have had the shortest name in the series, being two letters long.
- In the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series, there were times that Mr. No said yes.
