Mr. Noisy the Music Man is the 37th episode of the third season of Mr. Men and Little Miss. It was first broadcast on 3 September, 1997.

Plot

Mr. Noisy keeps everyone awake because he has decided to play in a band and has to practice. Mr. Clever comes up with a wonderful idea to give everyone a bit of peace; why not make him conductor! There won’t be much chance of him making any noise with a baton!

Characters

UK Voices

  • Geoffrey Palmer: Mr. Noisy, Mr. Clever, Mr. Tune
  • Jill Shilling: Little Miss Splendid
  • Gordon Peters: Mr. Uppity
  • Arnold Stang: The Narrator

US Voices

  • John DiMaggio: Mr. Uppity, Mr. Clever, The Narrator
  • Nancy Cartwright: Little Miss Splendid
  • Maurice LaMarche: Mr. Noisy
  • Jerry Nelson: Mr. Tune

Trivia

  • Mr. Noisy plays a total of three instruments in this episode, not counting the baton, even though it is described as a quiet musical instrument at the end of the episode. He plays a set of drums, an electric guitar, and a tenor saxophone.
  • Edited stock footage from Mr. Chatterbox and the Parrot was used in this episode for the first van driving scene at the beginning of the episode.

Errors

  • When Mr. Noisy chuckles as Mr. Tune is delivering him the drums, he doesn't sound like Mr. Noisy. Instead he sounds like Mr. Dizzy. The same thing happens with Mr. Clever before he telephones Mr. Tune. This is because some stock footage sound effects from previous Mr. Men and Little Miss episodes were used.
