Mr. Nosey was given a fairly big redesign for his appearance in The Mr. Men Show. He is now a lighter shade of green, his body shape is now similar to that of Mr. Greedy's, and he has a small, orange nose (presumably due to the phallic-looking appearance of his nose in the books). In addition, he wears a black tie and has a small curl of hair on his head.
Mr. Nosey (spelled Mr. Nosy in the US) is often seen around his best friend Mr. Small. The two live in a observatory with a large telescope that comes out of its roof. He is in the possession of several high-tech gadgets that usually aid him in snooping on others. In the episode Lake, his strength matches Mr. Strong when he breaks the wooden platform when he jumps up and down, causing Mr. Small to fly into the lake. In the US dub, Mr. Nosey has a Canadian accent and is voiced by Rick Zieff. In the UK dub, he has a Durhamite accent and is voiced by Steven Kynman.
Trivia[]
- Mr. Small often affectionately refers to him as "Nose".
- A plush of Mr. Nosey, released by Fisher-Price in 2008, has Mr. Small attached to his hip.
- He is seen as a mailman/postman in the episode "Night".
- Additionally, in "Night", Mr. Small claims Mr. Nosey is a black belt in karate.
- In "Machines", it is revealed that he and Mr. Small have prehistoric ancestors.
- In the episode "Canned Goods", his and Mr. Small's observatory is on a hill, but in other episodes, their lawn is flat.
- He is given a voice identical to that of Elvis Cridlington from Fireman Sam in the UK version. Coincidentally, they are both voiced by Steven Kynman.
