Mr. Slow's Snails (Les escargots de monsieur Lent in French) is an Arts & Crafts activity in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in April 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Burgundy snail, show me your horns! You don't need rain to make them move, a small magnet will do. Do like Mr. Slow, don't be in a hurry if you want to succeed.
You'll Need:[]
- Adhesive tape
- Paintbrush
- Air-hardening modeling clay - Small magnets
- Skewers or small chopsticks
- Paint - Lightweight cardboard
Instruction Guide[]
- Make your snail out of modeling clay. Don't forget the horns.
- Before it hardens, place a small magnet underneath.
- When it's dry, paint your snail.
- Use adhesive tape to attach another magnet to the skewers or small chopsticks.
- Draw and paint a path on the cardstock. To play, place the snail on the path and move it forward using the magnetic stick, slipped under the cardstock.
