(The episode begins at night where snowflakes are falling from the sky)

Narrator: One night, two days before Christmas, it started to snow.

(The camera zooms out to show the snow falling in front of the bright moon)

Narrator: All night, it snowed, and snowed, and snowed, and snowed, and snowed. Millions and billions and trillions of white, soft snowflakes covered the whole wide world.

(The camera zooms in on the moon)

Narrator: When morning came, it was quite amazing to see just how much snow had fallen.

(The scene transitions to show a snow-covered house the next morning. The camera pans to the left)

Narrator: All the houses, all the trees, all the roads, and all the fields were covered.

(Wind is heard blowing as the camera continues panning to the left)

Narrator: It was almost as if a huge white blanket had been gently laid over everything.

(The camera pans past a snow-covered tree)

Narrator: Everywhere you looked, was white.

(The camera zooms in towards the sun, which was shining in the sky)

Narrator: Then, the sun came out!

(The camera stops zooming in and the sun's rays spin around. The camera then cuts over to a boy and girl dressed in warm winter gear bouncing up and down in the snow)

Narrator: And so did the children!

Children: (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera zooms out from the two children)

Narrator (overlap): They were all dressed up and muffled up,

Children (overlap): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera pans up to show the boy wearing his green and red scarf and hat)

Narrator (overlap): Wearing scarves and woolies,

Children (overlap): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera cuts over to show the red gloves the girl is wearing)

Narrator (overlap): And gloves,

Children (overlap): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera lowers down and pans to the right to show the girl's light red boots and the boy's dark red boots)

Narrator (overlap): And boots so that they wouldn't catch cold.

Children (overlap): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera zooms back out to show the boy and girl jumping around and playing in the snow)

Narrator (overlap): All the children were so excited to see so much snow.

Children (overlap): (giggling and incoherent talking)

Narrator (overlap): Which isn't really surprising really, because there was more snow than they'd ever seen before.

Children (overlap): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera cuts over to a boy sledding down a hill to the bottom left of the screen. The camera follows him)

Narrator: Some of them,

(The camera cuts over to two boys sledding down a hill on the same sledge to the bottom right of the screen. The camera follows them)

Narrator: Went on their sledges, racing down,

(The camera cuts back over to the first boy sledding down a hill to the bottom left of the screen. The camera follows him)

Narrator: The hills.

(The camera cuts back over to the two boys sledding down a hill on the same sledge to the bottom right of the screen. The camera follows them. Then, the camera zooms in on both of their faces as they continue sledding to the right of the screen)

Narrator: Some of them,

(The camera cuts over to a boy wearing a blue and red striped hat and a white and blue striped scarf)

Narrator: Who didn't have,

(The camera zooms out from the little boy to show a second boy wearing a white hat and a blue coat holding a snowball in his left hand and facing the first boy)

Narrator: Sledges,

Children (overlap and offscreen): (giggling and incoherent talking)

Narrator (overlap): Threw snowballs,

(The camera stops zooming out and the boy in the blue coat winds up to throw the snowball)

Narrator: At each other.

(The boy in the blue coat throws the snowball and it hits the boy in the white and blue scarf right in the middle of his face. The camera shakes upon the snowball making impact)

Boy in the Blue Coat: (laughs)

(The camera briefly zooms in on the boy who got hit in the face with a snowball)

Narrator: (laughs)

(The camera cuts over to a little boy who's feet are only seen due to him carrying a gargantuan-sized snowball that he is struggling to carry. There is a pyramid of six snowballs to the left of him)

Narrator: (chuckles) One little boy even made a snowball that was as big as himself.

(The boy carrying the huge snowball falls down onto his back due to the weight of the snowball)

Children (overlap and offscreen): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera then cuts over to a snowy field full of snowmen)

Narrator (overlap): And some of the children,

Children (overlap and offscreen): (giggling and incoherent talking)

(The camera zooms in towards a snowman wearing a black hat, a yellow and blue striped scarf, and a face made from black stones

Children (overlap and offscreen): (giggling and incoherent talking)

Narrator (overlap): Made snowmen!

Children (offscreen): (laughs)

(The camera cuts over to a neighborhood full of snow-covered houses with either a blue door or an orange door)

Narrator: Then,

(The sun sets and lights come on in the snow-covered houses)

Narrator: It was Christmas Eve.

(The camera zooms in towards one of the houses)

Narrator: The children all went home early, so that they can go to bed early, so that they could get up early, to see,

(The scene transitions to a little boy asleep in his bed)

Narrator: What Father Christmas brought them.

(The scene transitions to a close up of Father Christmas)

Narrator: But, that particular Christmas Ebe, Father Christmas was in trouble.

(The scene transitions to Father Christmas carrying his sack over his shoulder and facing the right of the screen. Father Christmas tries to move but cannot budge)

Narrator: And the trouble was, that it had snowed so much,

(The camera zooms out to reveal Father Christmas' feet stuck in the snow)

Narrator: That Father Christmas was stuck!

(Father Christmas struggles to move around in the snow)

Narrator (while grunting): Well and truly stuck!

(Father Christmas continues to struggle and move around in the snow. The camera cuts over to Father Christmas' sleigh and reindeer. The reindeer also struggle to pull the sleigh in the deep snow)

Narrator: There was so much snow that his reindeer simply couldn't,

(The camera zooms in on the reindeer as the sleigh bells continue jingling as they try to free themselves)

Narrator: Pull his sleigh filed high with all the presents that he had,

(The camera stops zooming in but the reindeer continue struggling to move in the deep snow)

Narrator: To deliver to all the children.

(The reindeer are shown continuing their struggle to free themselves before the camera cuts over to Father Christmas)

Father Christmas: Oh dear.

Narrator: Thought Father Christmas to himself.

Father Christmas: Oh dear me. What am I to do?

(The scene transitions to Father Christmas sitting down on his sack of toys next to a snowman wearing a black hat and an orange and blue striped scarf)

Narrator: He sat down on his sack of toys and thought,

(The camera zooms in towards Father Christmas)

Narrator: And thought how he could manage to deliver all the presents to all the children,

(The camera stops zooming in and the snowman is no longer in the frame)

Narrator: Before they woke up on Christmas morning.

(The camera pans to show Father Christmas facing directly at the viewers)

Father Christmas: Oh dear! Oh dear me! (sighs)

Narrator: He said out loud. And sighed.

(The camera zooms out to Father Christmas looking to the left. On his left is a snowman a child had made)

Narrator: Now, it just so happened that Father Christmas had got himself stuck just beside a snowman which one of the children had built. And that gave him an idea.

(The camera starts slowly zooming in towards the snowman that would become Mr. Snow)

Narrator: A good idea. A very good idea. A very good idea indeed.

(The camera stops zooming in and cuts back to Father Christmas)

Father Christmas: How would you like to help me?

Narrator: He asked the snowman.

(The scene transitions back to the snowman)

Narrator: But, of course, the snowman didn't answer because snowmen can't talk, can they?

(The camera zooms out to show Father Christmas and the snowman in the same frame)

Father Christmas: Of course, I'll, uh...uh, I'll have to use some of my magic to bring him to life.

(The camera zoom in towards Father Christmas)

Narrator: Thought Father Christmas to himself.

(Father Christmas tugs on his white beard three times)

Narrator: So, he tugged his white beard three times,

(Father Christmas leans to the left and whispers something inaudibly)

Narrator: And muttered some,

(The camera zooms out to show Father Christmas and the snowman in the same frame)

Narrator: Father Christmassy magic words into it.

(The camera stops zooming out)

Narrator: Suddenly,

(The snowman magically transforms into Mr. Snow. His twig arms become snowy white arms and hands, ears appear on the side of his head, and he gains legs and feet)

Narrator: You might almost say magically,

(Mr. Snow yawns inaudibly)

Narrator: The snowman DID,

(The camera cuts over to Father Christmas smiling)

Narrator: Come to life.

(The camera zooms back out to show Mr. Snow and Father Christmas in the same frame)

Mr. Snow: Hello, Father Christmas.

Narrator: Said Mr. Snow, w-which was the snowman's name.

(Mr. Snow puts his hands behind his back and observes the situation)

Mr. Snow: You, uh, you look a bit sort of stuck if you as me, which you haven't, but I'll say so anyway.

(Mr. Snow moves his arms back out)

Mr. Snow: And if you ask me again, I'd say you need a sort of helping hand, if you know what I mean, Which you probably do, because that's probably why you've brought me to life.

(Mr. Snow puts his hand back behind his back)

Mr. Snow: (chuckles) Well, which you certainly did.

(The camera zooms in closer to Mr. Snow and Father Christmas. Mr. Snow no longer has his hands behind his back)

Mr. Snow: Uh, so, can I be of any assistance?

(Mr. Snow puts his hand back behind his back)

Narrator: Mr. Snow, as you might have gathered, was a rather talkative sort of snowman.

(The camera cuts over to Father Christmas)

Father Christmas (while chuckling): Exactly!

Narrator: Beamed Father Christmas.

Father Christmas: Let's get started!

Narrator: And start they did.

(Mr. Snow is shown behind Father Christmas while Father Christmas is shown carrying his sack over his shoulder and facing towards the right)

Narrator (while grunting): Mr. Snow gave Father Christmas,

(Mr. Snow pushes Father Christmas out of the heavy snow)

Narrator (while grunting): An enormous push,

(The screen briefly cuts to black)

Narrator: And off they went.

(The scene transitions to Mr. Snow walking along the snowy fields to the left of the screen. In his arms, Mr. Snow is shown carrying several toys for the children)

Narrator: They divided the work between them.

(The camera pans in closer to Mr. Snow)

Narrator: It was Mr. Snow's job to see that all the right toys for all the right boys, and all the right toys for all the right girls,

(The camera pans back out)

Narrator: Were put into all the right sacks.

(The camera cuts over to Father Christmas who has his sack over his shoulder)

Narrator: It was Father Christmas's job to make sure that,

(The camera zooms out to show Father Christmas about to go down a chimney)

Narrator: He took all the right sacks down all the right chimneys and delivered all the right toys

(Father Christmas slides down the chimney with his sack in tow)

Narrator: To all the right boys,

(Father Christmas is heard landing. The screen shakes briefly)

Narrator: And all the right toys to all the right girls

(The screen stop shaking and puffs of smoke rise into the air. The scene cuts to a little girl named Susan sleeping in her bed)

Narrator: Mr. Snow and Father Christmas,

(The camera zooms out to reveal a teddy bear on Susan's bed)

Narrator: Made sure that Susan,

(The camera stops zooming out and the teddy bear is shown to be alive by blinking)

Narrator: Got her teddy bear.

(The scene cuts to a little boy named Peter sleeping in his bed)

Narrator: Mr. Snow and Father Christmas,

(The camera zooms out to reveal a toy train on the floor to the right of Peter's bed)

Narrator: Made sure that Peter

(The toy train comes to life as a face appears on the front and smiles a big smile)

Narrator: Got his train.

(The scene cuts to a toy pink elephant swaying around)

Narrator: Mr. Snow and Father Christmas even made sure that little Jane,

(The pink elephant jumps it)

Narrator (overlap): Got her squeaky, pink elephant,

Pink Elephant (overlap): (squeaks)

(The pink elephant sways around again)

Narrator: To play with in the bath.

Pink Elephant: (squeaks)

(The camera cuts to a neighborhood of houses at nighttime. All covered in snow and only one window lit in one of the houses. The camera pans to the right)

Narrator: And then, all of a sudden,

(The camera zooms out to show more houses. Three of the houses in the neighborhood each have light coming out from one of the windows. All the other houses are dark)

Narrator: They discovered that, between them,

(The camera stops zooming out)

Narrator: They'd finished.

(The camera cuts over to Father Christmas looking towards the viewers but he's really meant to be looking at Mr. Snow)

Father Christmas: Oh. Why, (chuckles) I'd like to thank you very much indeed for helping me deliver all the right toys to all the right boys.

Narrator: Said Father Christmas,

(Father Christmas and Mr. Snow are shown shaking hands)

Narrator (while chuckling): Shaking Mr. Snow by the hand.

(The camera zooms in on Mr. Snow)

Mr. Snow: (chuckles) Not, not forgetting all the right toys to all the right girls!

Narrator: Replied Mr. Snow.

Mr. Snow: (laughs)

(The camera zooms back out to show Father Christmas and Mr. Snow shaking hands)

Narrator: Shaking Father Christmas by the hand.

(The two stop shaking hands and the camera cuts back to Father Christmas)

Father Christmas: And now, I'd better turn you back into a snowman again.

(The camera zooms out to show Father Christmas from the chest up)

Narrator: Said Father Christmas.

Father Christmas: Thank you again. And goodbye.

(The camera cuts back to show Mr. Snow and Father Christmas in the same frame. Mr. Snow puts his hands behind his back)

Mr. Snow: My pleasure.

Narrator: Smiled Mr. Snow.

(Mr. Snow moves his hands from behind his back. The scene transitions to show a silhouette of Father Christmas riding his sleigh and his reindeer pulling the sleigh just about to take off. The reindeer run toward the right of the screen pulling the sleigh)

Narrator: And do you know? From that Christmas to this Christmas, Father Christmas always chooses a snowman,

(The reindeer pull the sleigh behind a bunch of trees and take off into the air)

Narrator: To help him. So,

(Father Christmas and his reindeer fly past a house and the scene transitions to Mr. Snow standing in the middle of a snow covered field as snowflakes fall)

Narrator: If you ever build a snowman,

(Mr. Snow stretches and yawns inaudibly)

Narrator: You'd better make sure you build him properly.

(Mr. Snow turns back into a regular snowman)

Narrator: Because, who knows.

(The snow stops falling. The camera zooms in on the snowman that was once Mr. Snow)

Narrator: He might,

(The camera stops zooming in)

Narrator: Be Mr. Snow.

(The snowman that was once Mr. Snow winks to the viewers. The episode ends here)
