For his appearance in the 2008 TV series, The Mr. Men Show, Mr. Strong keeps his red colouration, but he is now shaped like an upside-down triangle rather then a square. In addition, he loses his green hat, but gains a belt and muscly arms as a way to show his strength. As shown in the music videos for "Beachin' with the Boombox" and "Beach Party A-Go-Go", Mr. Strong seems to be popular with the Little Misses. His catchphrase is "Aw, pickles!", and he says this when he breaks something by barely even touching it, another catchphrase being "I hardly touched it". In the episode "Amusement Park", it is revealed he has a fear of heights.
He lives in a house that is white with a black roof, two windows and a triangular door which is seen in some of the episodes. In the US version of the show, Mr. Strong is voiced by Phil Lollar and has a voice modeled after that of actor Sylvester Stallone. In the UK version, he is voiced by Simon Greenall, while his singing voice is provided by Tim Whitnall.
