Mr. Uppity's big house is the 5th episode of the first season of Mr. Men and Little Miss. It was first broadcast on 27 October 1995.
Plot[]
Mr. Snooty (known as Mr. Uppity in this episode) loves his enormous house, so he decides to open it to the public in order to make some money. He puts an advertisement in the paper for a Mr. Man or Little Miss to come and do the housework and it's Mr. Clumsy who turns up! Mr. Snooty hesitates a moment, but Mr. Clumsy promises to be very careful. And indeed, Mr. Clumsy manages to clean the whole house without any breakage, despite a series of near disasters! In actual fact, it is Mr. Snooty who causes the final catastrophe!

- As Little Miss Magic appeared in this episode, it is possible she appeared at Mr. Snooty's house, after he broke his favorite vase, and then Little Miss Magic magically put the pieces back together, the same accident also happens when Little Miss Helpful breaks his ornaments In the 8th episode of the third season and the 13th episode when Mr. Clumsy is ruining Miss Star's Party.
- It's revealed That Mr. Snooty never really like Mr. Clumsy might be because Miss Star, Miss Magic, him, and Little Miss Splendid which are also the characters that do not care about Little Miss Helpful and him Having Accidents.
- Due to unsteady animation, Mr. Clumsy's hair is thinner and more wiry than in later episodes.
- This episode is available on the 'The Joke Is On Little Miss Naughty' DVD.
Errors[]
- Mr. Mischief has Mr. Forgetful's colors in one scene so does Little Miss Prim when she's lining up.
- The gray background behind Mr. Forgetful who is behind the ticket table changes to white.
- Also the window of the cash register is transparent but when the shot cuts to Mr. Forgetful trying to remember the cost of the ticket, the window is solid white.
- Mr. Clumsy has no hair in one scene.
- In the original UK broadcast, when Mr. Clumsy giggles, he sounds like a Little Miss.
- The title card incorrectly has "Big House" in all lowercase.
