Nele Maar (born 1938) is a translator and writer from Germany.

She, along with Lisa Buchner, worked with the publishing company Susanna Rieder Verlag translating the Mr. Men and Little Miss books into German.
Nele Maar is married to the children's book author Paul Maar. The couple has three children, including Anne Maar and Michael Maar, who are also writers.
Nele Maar has been suffering from Alzheimer's disease since 2016.
