Overview[]
Nothing is Going Well for Little Miss Carefree (Rien ne va plus pour madame Tout-va-bien in French) is a story in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in May 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Plot[]
Little Miss Carefree gets up, opens the window and says, "Today is going to be a great day for a picnic!" She goes to the kitchen to prepare breakfast lunch, but it appears she had ran out of tea. Everything's fine, and she'll have plenty of fresh orange juice! She leaves the house and meets up with her friends. They wait for the bus to take them to the picnic together. Miss Curious asks on why the bus isn't coming, but with a reply from Mr. Mischief he says that Miss Late is supposed to drive it. Even Mr. Grumpy grumbles she'll never arrive. But it doesn't matter. Everything is fine. Miss Carefree suggests that she and her friends go for a walk. It's not far, it'll be a pleasant stroll. The men and women set off. An hour later, a little tired, they arrived at the banks of a beautiful river. Miss Bossy commands they should settle here and Mr. Clumsy should take the water bottles from the basket. When Clumsy opens the basket, there is disaster! The bottles are all broken, given that it might have been his shoelace getting caught. But there isn't anything to worry about because Mr. Busy will go and get them. Little Miss Carefree then adds: "Did you buy bread, Mr. Forgetful?" Mr. Forgetful didn't bring any bread; instead he only has sausages. So everything's fine, but Mr. Forgetful gave them to Mr. Greedy. Mr. Greedy apologises, a little embarrassed, but eats it all. It's alright! Miss Scatterbrain has brought some hard-boiled eggs, although they're not cooked as Mr. Grumble cries out and crushes the egg in his hands. It's alright, it's alright. Tell me again who you know. It's the first time it hasn't rained during a picnic. Suddenly: BROUM! The sky is covered with clouds and a terrible storm is building. Quick! The men and women pack up and run home. What a day! Finally, Miss Carefree, who was all right comes home soaking wet and says, "Phew! Everything is all right. I'm home. I think I'll make some hot tea and warm myself up!" and goes to the kitchen, where she cries out, "Oh no! I'm out of tea. This is bad!"
