Synopsis[]
Little Miss Greedy has a recipe for orange cream sweets she wants to share with you so you can make them. They're her yummy favourites. Ask a grown up to help you.
Instructions[]
What You Will Need[]
- 400 grams of icing sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice
- 1 orange
What To Do[]
- Put the icing sugar into a bowl
- Grate the orange rind on to the icing sugar
- Add the lemon juice. Squeeze a little orange juice on to the icing sugar too.
- With your hands, work the mixture into a firm, smooth mass. If it won't keep together, add more juice until it does.
- When the mixture is just firm enough, turn it on to a pastry board. Dust a rolling pin with icing sugar. Roll the mixture out until it is about 5mm thick.
- Cut your organge creams into small rounds. Leave them to dry and harden on greaseproof paper. When they are dry on both sides, they're ready to eat -- Little Miss Greedy can't wait!
