Playhour was a British children's comic and magazine range published by Amalgamated Press/Fleetway/IPC between 16 October 1954 and 15 August 1987.
Involvement with the Mr. Men[]
One of the many series published in Playhour was based on the Mr. Men and Little Miss book series. While the date of the first comic published remains a mystery, the earliest known Mr. Men comic from Playhour was on 1 February, 1975[1].

- It is unknown when the comics came to an end but, as of August 2024, the last known comic was released on 14 February, 1987 as a reissued comic. The last known original comic is currently unknown.
- The 1981 and 1984 annuals do not feature Mr. Men.
- As of July 2025, there are only 9 comics that are missing.
