The issue from 15 February features Mr. Strong, a full year before his own book was book was published. This may be the first time he was seen by the public but it lends weight to the idea that the Playhour writers were given guidance by Roger Hargreaves or that he wrote some of the strips himself.
The August 2nd issue feature an orange Mr. Happy. Despite the header version of Mr. Happy and The Flowers being shown as yellow.
