Rainy Day is a Season 1 episode in The Mr. Men Show.
Synopsis
It's a rainy day in Dillydale, and the bad weather is putting some of the Mr. Men and Little Misses in a bad mood. A leaky roof gets the better of Mr. Per(s)nickety and his wool sofa and Mr. Nervous' daydream leaves him drenched - yet the storm can't dissuade Mr. Stubborn from picnicking with Mr. Bump.
Plots
- Mr. Bump and Mr. Stubborn's Plot: Mr. Stubborn wants Mr. Bump to go on a picnic in the park, but Mr. Bump told him he cancelled because it was raining. Of course, Mr. Stubborn kept saying it wasn't raining.
- Mr. Nervous's Plot: Mr. Nervous imagines he's sent into an ark but is really trying to catch Mr. Rude's bus.
- Mr. Lazy's Plot (US version only): Mr. Lazy is too lazy to clean his teeth. So he decides to use his toothbrush machine that runs on water. (Not in the UK)
- Mr. Scatterbrain's Plot: Mr. Scatterbrain buys an umbrella from Miss Helpful. But gets blown in a sewer pipe that took him to the beach.
- Musical number: "Rain On Down" by Little Miss Calamity (Little Miss Helpful in the dub)
- Mr. Persnickety and Mr. Strong's Plot: Mr. Strong tries to fix Mr. Persnickety's roof before it ruins Mr. Persnickety's wool sofa.
