Plots

Mr. Bump and Mr. Stubborn's Plot: Mr. Stubborn wants Mr. Bump to go on a picnic in the park, but Mr. Bump told him he cancelled because it was raining. Of course, Mr. Stubborn kept saying it wasn't raining.

Mr. Nervous's Plot: Mr. Nervous imagines he's sent into an ark but is really trying to catch Mr. Rude's bus.

Mr. Lazy's Plot (deleted in the UK version): Mr. Lazy likes it when it rains so he can use his tooth brushing machine.

Mr. Scatterbrain's Plot: Mr. Scatterbrain buys an umbrella from Miss Helpful. But gets blown in a sewer pipe that took him to the beach.

Mr. Persnickity and Mr. Strong's Plot: Mr. Strong tries to fix Mr. Persnickety's roof before it ruins Mr. Persnickety's wool sofa.

Trivia

  • Little Miss Calamity sings a song called Dillydale is Dancing in the US version, and Little Miss Helpful sings in the UK version.
  • In Mr. Persnickity's house there's a picture of a lady that looks like Mr. Persnickity. According to The Mr. Men Show Blog, it was found out it was his mother and Mr. Clumsy's aunt.
  • Mr. Strong's Video is in this episode.
  • Mr Strong took Mr Pernickety's roof again when he is Mr Fussy [Bad Weather]\
  • Goof: When Mr. Strong breaks part of the roof,he sees Mr. Persnickety who is on the first floor. Mr. Persnickety's house has two floors and maybe a basement. (Mr. Messy has a basement shown in Washing and Drying.)
  • In the UK, Mister Stubborn says "There it is! I win!". This is omitted in the US.
  • Mr. Nervous's plot is a reference to Noah's Ark
  • In the UK version, Mr. Stubborn calls Go Fish by its British name, Happy Families.
  • In the song, Mr. Rude's parade float from Parade is shown. (Also, Rainy Day comes about four episodes before Parade.)
  • Also, in the song, the part with Miss Sunshine and Mr. Rude's horn is a reference to the opening scene of Music.
  • Miss Sunshine hands Mr. Stubborn an umbrella (though she does seem saddened when he declines).
  • Little Miss Sunshine is very angry in this episode.
