S4C

S4C is a Welsh language free-to-air public broadcast television channel.

History[]

Founded on 1 November 1982, it was the first television channel to be aimed specifically at a Welsh-speaking audience. SC4 broadcasted around 22 hours a week of programs, mostly during prime time with a teatime slot for children with English language programs from Channel 4, rescheduled to fit around the Welsh programs upon its launch.

S4C broadcasted the Welsh dub of Mr. Men and Little Miss.
