Skyscrapers is a Season 2 episode of The Mr. Men Show.
Synopsis[]
The Mr. Men and Little Misses are scraping the skies in these buildings. Mr. Bump keeps falling off the window washing platform; Mr. Grumpy is trapped in an elevator; and Mr. Quiet teaches Little Miss Whoops and Little Miss Chatterbox how to build a skyscraper.
Plots[]
- Mr. Bump and Mr. Strong's Plot: Mr. Bump and Mr. Strong are cleaning windows, but Mr. Bump keeps falling off the window washing platform as various people in the building keep making him fall.
- Musical number (UK deleted scene): Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small preform a rap about observation decks.
- Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Scatterbrain and Miss Magic's plot: Mr. Grumpy has to deliver a package to Mr. Happy, who is on the 99th floor of a skyscraper, but his progress is halted when Mr. Scatterbrain enters the elevator and presses every floor button.
- Mr. Quiet, Miss Chatterbox and Miss Whoops' Plot: Mr. Quiet is construction working with Miss Chatterbox and Miss Whoops. Unfortunately, Miss Chatterbox and Miss Whoops' inability to place the beams down correctly leads to Mr. Quiet falling into cement and being picked up by a vulture.
Bumpers[]
Little Miss Daredevil is fighting a massive gorilla that is holding Little Miss Sunshine captive on top of a skyscraper.
- Little Miss Daredevil makes a contrail in the form of a banana, causing the gorilla to be distracted by it and fall.
- The gorilla stops Little Miss Daredevil to let Mr. Small and Mr. Nosey pass through.
- The gorilla sees a parade balloon in the shape of Little Miss Sunshine and grabs it, allowing the actual Little Miss Sunshine to get onto Little Miss Daredevil's plane.

Trivia[]
- Mr. Quiet's voice is much clearer in this episode.
- The stone Mr. Quiet was seen in a fountain in the ending scene.
- This is the only time someone other than Little Miss Scary or Little Miss Chatterbox comments on Little Miss Magic appearing. That someone is Mr. Messy.
- Miss Scary is seen in a tutu during Mr. Nosey and Mr. Small's song, and appears to be relaxing in a spa at the very end.
- Three monkeys wearing hats and carrying suitcases are seen at the beginning of Mr. Grumpy's plot. It is possible that they belong to Mr. Scatterbrain.
- The sketch featuring Mr. Bump and Mr. Strong is similar to their sketch from "Paint", as they both involve the two doing work while on a skyscraper lift. Differences include:
- Both Mr. Bump and Mr. Strong now have safety belts
- The two are washing windows, rather than painting the building.
- Miss Scary scares Mr. Bump off in this episode, instead of Mr. Bump falling off himself.
Errors[]
- The scene transition is not placed between the first segment and the first bumper, having the bumper abruptly begin without any sort of transition from the previous segment. This is fixed in the UK broadcast.
