THOIP (an initialism of The Hargreaves Organization International Productions) is a British media company founded in 1993 in the UK by Adam Hargreaves and Amelia Beddoe that owns the Mr. Men franchise[1].
In April 2004, Roger Hargreaves widow, Christine, sold THOIP to Chorion for £28 million. After Chorion was forced into administration in 2011, Sanrio bought and took over THOIP upon acquiring the rights on December 6, 2011.
