It looks like it started on 1st of February 1975 (issue #1061) and ran for through to the 10th May. (#1075) 14 issues and then a break. But this is speculation based on the banner on the top of the cover. Mr. Men then starts up again on 9th August (#1088) and seems to continue on from there.
This is likely to be the first instance of Mr Men's long running comic series.

Just because they no longer show the Mr. Men on the front cover doesn't mean that they stop showing the comics. These ran through 1987 as the references state. Check that out. There's also a list of dates for the comics now if you want to check that out.

I have uploaded a ton more from my latest acquisition. I have noticed there is a mismatch between what has been posted on here and the missing section. If this is all so, and you have the following on a hard drive somewhere please post the following which I do not have but are not listed as missing.

What's interesting from the scans I have received is a lot of them are identical to those already posted; however if your list doesn't match or you are trying to find a better quality scan for any of the existing images let me know and I'll check my own hard drive to fill in any further gaps. Would it be worth splitting the page up into new pages now that there is a significantly larger amount of content?

I'm looking at something like this: [[1]] but I don't like how it looks at the moment. The good, is that user can sort the columns so they can still read for example all of one characters strips in one go; or they can switch to date; this format would also allow for missing issues to be seen inline rather than as a list at the end.
But right now I think it looks quite ugly and by having only one comic per line the pages will be just a long as it currently is (even with the size of thumbnails reduced) so that doesn't solve the complete problem. I also don't like how it puts the image to the right of the box. I have attempt to centre them but that hasn't worked and it has also centered the citations at the end. meh
So I'll keep working away at this and let you know if I make any improvements here. MrAlastair (talk) 16:40, 2 August 2024 (UTC)
Please can I finish the transferring of files before you edit. I've done a lot of work today and learning how to do things and it wouldn't because you had edited in the time between me editing and saving so I've lost some of my work and I'm quite upset by that. If you could just wait a while I can ensure the files got cleanly removed from one page and pasted into the other and I don't get conflicts. Sorry Alastair, I just finished the transfer. On the plus side, now you can add the comics that are missing! And if they are a duplicate comic, that's perfectly fine. It will be classified as a re-released on that day. Also, if you have the rest of the Little Miss Jack and Jill comics, please share them as well. Keep up the great work Icequeen NinjaWarrior (talk)
