Thank You, Mr. Slow! (Merci, monsieur Lent ! in French) is a joke nursery rhyme in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.

It was released in 1997, and then re-released in 2000.

Lyrics[]

"Hello!" shouts Mr. Nonsense as he runs in front of Mr. Slow's House.

"At...tten...tion!" Answers Mr. Slow "Your... the..."

"I'm in a hurry!" answers Mr. Nonsense without stopping.

And suddenly: BANG! SPLASH!

Mr. Nonsense fell into the pond.

"I...wanted...to tell..you...that...your...shoelace... was... undone, " said Mr. Slow.

Both Mr. Nonsense and Mr. Slow are the only characters that are males, round-shaped, and wear hats in this joke nursery rhyme.
The joke nursery rhyme's title differs that of the Mr. Men and Little Miss episode Thank Goodness for Mr. Slow!, which was also released on the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Missseries' VHS releases in 1998/99.
- Furthermore, Bless You, Mr. Sneeze! and this are the only joke nursery rhymes in issue 10 to have the word "you" in them.
