What Does it Mean to be Flexible? (C'est quoi, être souple ? in French) is a short story about keeping clean, healthy and well inthe I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in March 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Mr. Tickle answers the titular question, saying "Look at my arms! Have you seen how flexible they are? I can bend them in all directions! That's so useful for tickling! HA HA HA HA! Being flexible means being able to make lots of movements. Without bending your knees. Putting your leg behind your head. Doing the splits. Children are very flexible. But to stay that way, you have to do gymnastics. Touching the ground with your hands. Even if you don't want to become an acrobat like Miss Somersault!" while empathizing with the reader.
