Overview[]
What Other Animals Live in Africa? (Quels autres animaux vivent en Afrique ? in French) is a short story about discovering the world, curiosity and telling them what they are in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in May 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Little Miss Tidy answers the titular question, saying: "Africa is a large continent. There are deserts, mountains, lakes, forests... Many animals live freely in Africa, but not all in exactly the same place. Each lives in its own place. In the desert, there are dromedaries (which only have one hump!), fennec foxes, scorpions, chameleons... In the savannah, which is an immense expanse of grass, there are lions, giraffes, zebras, gazelles, antelopes, hyenas, rhinoceroses, buffalo... In the rainforest, there are elephants, hippos, monkeys, snakes... Everywhere, there are insects and birds. And in the Nile, there are crocodiles!" while sympathizing with the reader.
