Overview[]
What Should You Do When Your Parents Fight? (Que faut-il faire quand les parents se disputent ? in French) is a short story about questions and to understand why in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in April 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Just like last time, Mr. Quiet answers the question seen in the title, saying "Shhh... Wait until they calm down. Don't say anything. Maybe they're arguing about something that bothers you, right? Anyway, adults don't understand what's being said when they're angry. And kids do too, by the way! Tell them your opinion later. You have the right to say that it's annoying that they're arguing. Or tell them what you think about the issue they were arguing about. But you have to wait until they can hear you. So try not to make them more angry. In the meantime... Shhhh!" all whilst in empathy with the reader.
