Where Were The Flowers Before They Were in the Vase? (Où étaient les fleurs avant d’être dans le vase ? in French) is a short story curiosity in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.

It was released in 1997, then re-released in 2000.

Summary[]

Little Miss Splendid answers the titular question by saying that: Some flowers were picked by a gardener, and that's how they got in a vase, some flowers were harvested from a horticulturist, sold to a flower shop, who then sells them to clients, also adding that wild flowers can be picked by hand and given to the reader's mother. Whilst sympathizing with the reader.
