Summary[]
Little Miss Loud answers the titular question, saying "There's a lot going on in your gut! Your stomach and intestines digest everything you eat. They turn food into porridge that nourishes your blood. So naturally... GLOUP! GLOUP! GLOUP! You hear a gurgling sound like a witch's cauldron! Occasionally bubbles pass through your intestines. BULP! BULP! You hear a gurgling sound! You can't stop it! Often it's a sign that it's time to eat." while in empathy with the reader.
