Overview[]
Why Don't We Keep Our Shoes Inside? (Pourquoi ne garde-t-on pas ses chaussures dans la maison ? in French) is a short story about learning manners and how to live together in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in April 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
It is a very good point to take your shoes off as Mr. Fussy would much likely want you do to so; even Mr. Noisy answers the question in the title, shouting out: "I love it! The sound of big shoes on the tiles or the parquet floor... What a pleasure! But most people don't like it very much. Besides, when we come in from outside, our shoes are dirty. Full of mud, sand, grass... Or even old chewing gum! If we keep them on, we make a mess all over the house. And who cleans? Huh?" while sympathizing with the reader.
