Why Shouldn't We Swear? (Pourquoi ne faut-il pas dire des gros mots ? in French) is a short story about learning manners and how to live together in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.

It was released in May 1999, and then re-released in 2000.

Summary[]

Little Miss Naughty answers the titular question, saying: "That's a shame! Because swearing is funny! Well! It makes you laugh. But if you say it all the time, it gets annoying! Swearing isn't nice. If you say a swear word to someone, they get upset and angry. Even if you just wanted to laugh. You can say it to your friends, and it makes them laugh too. Not too often, though!" while sympathizing with the reader.
