Overview[]
Why Shouldn't You Cross the Street Alone? (Pourquoi ne faut-il pas traverser la rue tout seul ? in French) is a short story about learning manners and how to live together in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in May 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Little Miss Tiny answers the titular question, saying "When you're little, there are things you can't do alone. Because it's dangerous. You probably already know that you're only allowed to cross when the light is green? That's fine. But you never know! An accident could happen: a car goes through even though the light is red; you slip and fall in the middle of the street; the light turns green before you reach the sidewalk... You might not know what to do if that happened! That's why your parents prefer that you wait for them to cross. And when you're allowed to cross alone, you'll have to be very careful!" while sympathizing with the reader.

Trivia[]
- Add some trivia and lore! Why not stick about the characters, or the community (like a story/activity/rhyme has references, is based on something or things similar), not about the story/activity/rhyme itself.
