Overview[]
Why Shouldn't You Put Things in the Bathtub Drain? (Pourquoi ne faut-il pas mettre des trucs dans le trou de la baignoire ? in French) is a short story about learning manners and how to live together in the I Grow Up with the Mr. Men and Little Miss series.
It was released in May 1999, and then re-released in 2000.
Summary[]
Little Miss Naughty answers the titular question, saying "Hehehehe! It's fun, that's for sure! Put a marble above the bathtub drain, and see it swirl, and hear it fall, THWACK! into the pipe with the water! The annoying thing is that pipes have lots of bends. Water flows through bends just fine. But marbles don't. They get stuck. And if too much stuff gets stuck in the pipes, the water won't flow through. The result? It backs up in the tub. Before you can take another bath, you'll have to unclog the pipes. Your parents will probably have to call the plumber and give him some money to fix it... I doubt they'd be very happy!" while sympathizing with the reader.
